Abstract

This study employs quantitative measures to analyze the effectiveness of peace initiatives in post-conflict regions across three continents during 2019-2024. Using multilevel regression modeling with data from 47 coun-tries and 168 regional peace programs, we identified significant correla-tions between sustainable peace outcomes and three key factors: inclu-sive local governance structures (β = 0.78, p < 0.001), economic oppor-tunity expansion (β = 0.65, p < 0.001), and diverse stakeholder engage-ment (β = 0.71, p < 0.001). Results indicate that programs integrating all three elements maintained peace stability 287% longer than single-factor initiatives. Our findings reveal a substantial gap between high-visibility international interventions and actual peace sustainability metrics, with locally-led initiatives demonstrating 43% higher efficiency in conflict pre-vention. This research provides an evidence-based framework for policy development that prioritizes measurable peace dividends through integrat-ed approaches focusing on governance structures, economic foundations, and inclusive participation as interdependent factors in sustainable peace-building.
