Abstract

One very important element in human life is education. With education, every individual will be able to obtain knowledge. In educational units, teaching tools are provided in the form of a curriculum in terms of the world of education. Since 1947, the Indonesian Curriculum has undergone many significant changes, even today. This change aims to provide en-couragement and renewal in the education system in Indonesia. In this research, we use the library method to collect information from various literature and scientific sources, including book articles and research find-ings related to curriculum development in Indonesia. The focus of this research is to analyze the 2013 Curriculum along with the Independent Aqidah Akhlak Curriculum. This analysis was carried out to find differences in educational and learning activities implemented in the school environ-ment from an Islamic religious education perspective.
