Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the description of students' motivation and students' achievement. The study used qualitative descriptive, The results showed that: a) The students' motivation in choosing English education department of IAI As'adiyah Sengkang, in general, included in good criteria. b) The students' achievement in choosing English education department of IAI As'adiyah Sengkang, in general, is included in the good criteria. c) The students' motivation has a positive and strong (significant) relationship with the students' achievement in choosing English education department of IAI As'adiyah Sengkang.
